That’s a wrap for ACF Boost! 43 diverse independent arts, artistic groups and arts organisations from around the country raised over $170,000 during their ACF Boost campaigns. Those who raised $2,000 or more get a $2,000 boost towards their project from Creative Partnerships Australia.

Lab Kelpie | Where are they now? Progressive Melbourne theatre group, Lab Kelpie ran their campaign on the ACF in 2016 to raise funds and awareness for their progressive production, Elegy. Raising 105% of their target, they’ve since gone on to tour the country and win multiple awards for their production. Their creative producer, Adam Fawcett joins us in a new ACF series where we ask ACF alumni, where are they now?

Donor profile | Katie Yap Katie Yap plays the violin with orchestras including the Australian World Orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Katie ran a campaign on the ACF to fund her travels to Toronto for the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute. Katie has shared the love and donated to other artists’ campaigns on the ACF. In our new artist to artist series, we find out what spurs ACF-ers to donate to their community.
Donor profile | Gaele Sobott Author and founding director of Outlandish Arts, Gaele Sobbot, fundraised on the ACF for a series of poetry workshops, performances and critical dialogue on art, mental distress and well-being. Since then, she’s shown a real passion and commitment to supporting other artists.
