September Project Spotlight | Capacity builders

Professional development and learning opportunities are invaluable for artists. It can lead to career expansion and access to communities otherwise not possible. In this month’s spotlight, we look to projects raising funds for artists to propel themselves into their next big chapter.

Chloe Hurn has been offered the opportunity to continue her studies in 2024 and 2025 at the Rambert Ballet and Contemporary School in London after being selected as the recipient of the Rambert School Prize.

Donations will be used for the cost of attending the Rambert School, to build connections across the UK and Europe, and pursue performing opportunities.

Hidden Movements join forces with Make-shift Evenings to facilitate a three-day creative development workshop, leading into three performances, and concluding with an evening of Make-Shift performances. The opportunity will provide artists with invaluable access to essential and paid professional development.

Donations will go towards the cost of venue hire, documentation, and artist fees.

James Emerson has been offered a part scholarship to commence a Master of Performance (Vocal) at the Royal College of Music, London. There, he will have the opportunity to develop his musical abilities, learn from internationally renowned musicians and practitioners, and immerse himself in a diverse and dynamic musical community.

Donations would be used to cover the remaining balance of school fees, living expenses, and Young Artist Programs throughout the UK and Europe.
