ACF’s performance in 2016-17

Our 2016-17 results are in and we’re celebrating some impressive achievements.

The volume of donations to Australian Cultural Fund projects increased by more than 50% over the previous year thanks to the generosity of art lovers and supporters around Australia.

We received a huge, $2,677,663 in donations for artists and arts organisations around Australia. And we hit a significant milestone — over $20 million has been donated since the ACF was established in 2003.

But this year wasn’t all about money.

More artists than ever are using the ACF to fund their artistic practice.  A total of 452 artists and arts organisations registered to fundraise on the platform this year – a 42% increase on last year and a 97% increase since 2014-15.

Through our year-long ACF Outreach Campaign, we increased awareness of the ACF within the arts community through 18 national events, engaging more than 400 artists and arts organisations around Australia.

We launched the Artist Dashboard so artists can monitor their campaign performance in real time, and more easily contact their donors.

The ACF team developed and published 30 new resources and tools to the ACF site, so take some to browse our profiles, fundraising tips and videos. What a great year!

The ACF is managed by Creative Partnerships Australia. You can read more about the ACF’s performance and achievements, as well as other Creative Partnerships programs, services and activities in the 2016/17 annual report.
