October Project Spotlight | Melbourne Fringe

With the iconic Melbourne Fringe Festival celebrating its 40th year, we thought it only right to turn the spotlight on some of the artists that are raising funds to be part of the bold and boisterous program.

A site-specific reinterpretation of Schnitzler’s scandalous 19th century play “La Ronde,” IGNIS will be an immersive experience at Toorak Manor Hotel. Audiences will move from room to room with the actors as the play unfolds in this Melbourne premiere.

Funding will go towards wages for the cast and crew.

Waiting Game is a contemporary dance duet that reflects experiences of repetition and monotony. By reimagining these experiences, the dancers re-discover the joy of movement, togetherness and connection.

Donations will cover artist fees, production costs and venue hire.

Naomi is an award-winning solo performance de-stigmatising suicide, mental illness and addiction. This intimate performance premiered at Adelaide Fringe earlier this year, receiving the Adelaide Critics Circle and Mental Health Awareness Awards as well as two Weekly Awards.

Donations will help cover venue hire, marketing, wages and a learning aid for high school students.
