The ACF is excited to announce our innovative new partnership with Australian startup, ArtsPay!
Every time a donation is processed via credit card through the ACF, a transaction fee is paid to a payment provider. With ArtsPay, these transaction fees now go to supporting our artists – a win-win if you ask us.
“The ACF exists to support our creative economies, so we are excited that everything we do will champion individual artists and small arts organisations. With ArtsPay supporting these same creative economies, this partnership is a natural fit,” said ACF Manager Tracy Woolacott.
So how exactly does this work? ArtsPay is a local payment processing company that directs 50% of the profits generated from transaction fees to artists and small arts organisations via its charitable foundation, the ArtsPay Foundation.
What does this mean for my donation? By switching to ArtsPay the impact a single donation has, goes twice as far – first towards the artists themselves, and then towards the growth of a new source of funding for the arts via the ArtsPay Foundation.
What’s next? With more than $10.5million of donations being processed through the ACF in the 23/24 financial year, the partnership spells an exciting opportunity for the ACF and the ArtsPay Foundation to collectively contribute to a sustainable creative sector.
“ArtsPay is already being used by hundreds of ethical businesses all around Australia as a way of giving back to the arts simply by switching their instore or online payments. This partnership is clearly a very exciting step in our growth”, said Alistair Webster, co-founder at ArtsPay.
