When Covid-19 closed down theatres, live venues and film sets in March 2020, many professionals associated with those and other workplaces lost their primary and secondary income sources. Including photographers.

I set out to help governments and non-industry people understand just how resilient and determined to survive we all are.

This book and exhibition are an important historical record of just how innovative our industry can be, and how we adapt in order to continue doing what we love – and doing what gives the broader population such joy.

With more than 60 stunning portraits by Heidi Victoria, and stories written by each subject to accompany their image, this collection will stimulate conversation, invoke emotions and ultimately serve as a reminder that The Show MUST Go On!

Your contribution will help this body of work end up in the hands of those who make decisions for our industry….from governments, to foundations, educators, financial backers and others.

The Corona virus pandemic will not be the last pandemic our generation experiences.

This record of the events of 2020 may help shape a different outcome for our sector next time.

With restrictions finally easing in Victoria, a solo exhibition is being launched in February 2021, featuring approximately 40 works.

The entire collection (of over 70 people) comes together in a beautifully presented 30x30cm art book.

Your support enables this homage to the Australian Performing Arts to become a physical reality, and I thank you, in advance.

**Please note that a percentage of all publication sales during the exhibition period will be donated to Entertainment Assist, for the further development of mental health programs and research in to the unacceptable statistics linked to our industry.

Award-winning environmental portraitist who honours the natural ambience of a moment in order to authentically capture each subject.

Patron and lover of The Arts, former Arts Minister, creative soul.
