Your support will help us to secure the establishment of this new festival, creating a new cultural destination in Regional NSW and assisting with the regeneration of the local economy, harshly hit by drought, bushfires and the effects of COVID-19.

The Orange Chamber Music Festival is the new regional Art Music event of the Central West of NSW to be added to the calendar of all classical music lovers from around Australia. Four days filled with a diverse and exciting range of concerts and experiences in Orange, NSW.

Events will range from free demonstrations, family and community friendly events, to the most refined Chamber Music concerts, elevated with unique experiences in collaboration with local businesses and venues around Orange and Millthorpe.

Due to the devastating effects of COVID-19 the inaugural Orange Chamber Music Festival 2020 was delivered in digital format, sharing live-streamed and recorded concerts to an engaged and growing audience from all over the world.

The revenue expected by ticket sales was affected by the extreme measures put in place, impacting not only the launch of the Festival, but undoubtedly the confidence of the new audience and stakeholders.

The Orange Chamber Music Festival was developed by a collective of professional classical musicians in 2020 united by their love for Chamber Music and their extensive experience performing in festivals all over Australia and internationally.

These artists, together with local musicians, organisations and sponsors are working together to make Orange the prime cultural destination of Regional NSW, highlighting the thriving and vibrant community of Orange and the prominent hospitality network of the region.

The Inaugural Orange Chamber Music Festival 2020 is an initiative developed by Carmen Nieves, Jay Byrnes, Stefan Duwe, Lisa Stewart and David Shaw. This collective of professional classical musicians all have extensive experience in performing classical music as soloists and in ensembles around the world, from Europe to South America, and have now decided to call Orange home. Together they have created the Orange Chamber Music Festival 2020 with the objective of generating a performing and educating platform for artists in the Orange region. With Carmen Nieves as Executive Director the team plans to establish the Orange Chamber Music Festival as an annual event
