“Have you tried yoga?”, the show, is headed to Adelaide Fringe for 2018. The 70 minute performance will be presented at The Mill Gallery on Angas Street between the 2nd and 9th of March.
In accordance with the creator’s vision – to support and represent artists with disabilities – this season is planning to present an exhibition from artists with disabilities alongside the show. The exhibition, about ableism, will be available to view at The Mill Gallery from the 1st to the 29th of March.
BUT we need your help to make this dream a reality! The exhibition, curated by Kirsty Martinsen, requires financial assistance if it is to go ahead. Donations will be used in multiple ways: supporting the artists; hiring an assistant to help Kirsty with physical tasks – from hanging artwork to preparing for opening night; staffing; equipment; documentation and publicity. The show is one of this years Artist Fund recipients: however, only received a portion of the money required to produce the show and unfortunately nowhere near enough to produce the exhibition.
This exhibition is gearing up to be a fantastic.but we need help to bring the work of these three exceptional visual artists to the front. Please help us celebrate their work and embrace their passion for equality.
