The graduation showcase is a right of passage for our degree. It is our introduction to the industry and allows us to establish ourselves on the national stage. This opens up career opportunities nationally and greatly increases our chances of future employment. Industry members from Australian film, television and theatre are invited to each performance and the actors will have a series of meetings with some of the best agents, casting agents, directors, producers and theatre makers in the country.

After four years of training at an acting institution that is renowned for producing innovative, talented, creative, and intelligent performers, this ensemble is incredibly excited to have the opportunity to introduce and present themselves to the industry in which they are so passionate about working.

This showcase is the culmination of all our training. It is perhaps the single most important thing we have done in our lives so far. We are full-time students who are ready to show the rest of the country what we have to offer! We have studied and trained 9-5 every day for FOUR years to get here.

But we need your help. A week trip to Melbourne and another to Sydney doesn’t come cheap for 8 young full-time students. We’re asking for your donations so we can realise our goals. we are asking for you to invest in our future, and in us as Australia’s next generation of artists.

Your tax-deductible donations will be used to cover travel, accommodation, and living costs for all eight of us in Sydney and Melbourne.

The end result will be all of us having connections, contacts and possibly agents in 3 of Australia’s capital cities.

You can find out more by contacting any of us on Facebook, or via email to blake.orielly@flinders.edu.au

We are an ensemble of eight actors who have spent the last 4 years training at Flinders Drama Centre, under the direction of Rosalba Clemente. We have performed in 10 productions together including; The Seagull, directed by Tom Healey; Twelfth Night, directed by David Mealor; The Good Person of Setzuan, directed by Nescha Jelk; and The Return, directed by Renato Musolino.

We have studied Pochinko clowning with Hew Parham, theatre devising with Alirio Zavarce, movement with Erin Fowler and Roz Hervey, acting and dialect with Tiffany Lyndall-Knight and interactive theatre/game design with Caleb Lewis. Over the past 4 years we have developed into versatile actors and creators, ready to make our mark on Australian theatre.
