The Australian Cultural Fund will provide $2,000 of matched funding for this upcoming exhibition at Artsource Old Customs House, provided $2,000 is contributed by 30 June 2018! These funds will go towards supporting the development of a new body of work over the next 6 months at Parramatta Artists Studios as well as assisting with the freight of the works from Sydney to Perth and installation.
Working with de-silvered mirrors, graphic cyanotypes, wire mobiles and sculptural assemblages the exhibition will draw on various motifs contained within the architectural details of the building and the potential for new meaning when these fragments from the building are isolated and presented across multiple forms within the expansive exhibition space.
