Electrofringe’s annual flagship event EF16 features a one-day showcase of experimental work and performance, with a second day of workshops and demonstrations.

Location: 107 Projects, Redfern, NSW
Dates: 22 and 23 October

We bring artists, their works, and audiences together in a stimulating environment for creative, cultural and social exchange. This is an opportunity to present new work, demonstrate practice, express new ideas, test prototypes, receive direct feedback from eager audiences, and connect with peers and industry partners.

Participants present a diverse range of electronic artforms that adapt technology, from DIY software to artist-made machines, computer networks, robotics, immersive virtual reality systems and more.

Our mission is to lead the way in consistently supporting emerging electronic and tech-based artists through the presentation of work and ideas; To lead the way in nurturing a vital culture of experimental electronic and tech-based art in Australia through innovative programming and engagement with audiences.

Now in its 19th year as a community run organisation, Electrofringe is in need of boosted support from the wider public to make EF16 possible.

Electrofringe is a presenting platform for experimental electronic and tech-based art in Australia. Through an annual program of unique exhibitions and events, Electrofringe seeks to foster innovative works and creative practices that use technology in new and exciting ways. Electrofringe focuses on putting artists and their works in the same place at the same time to encourage artistic exchange, development and dialogue.
