Baggage Limit is a one woman musical monologue experience. It tells the story of one woman unpacking the contents of her life to reveal that sometimes we need to look to the past to understand the present and move into the future.
Baggage Limit is a raw and honest look at one woman’s unpacking of family dysfunction connection and loss, to reveal her years spent struggling with anxiety and depression.
Told through the lens of her two alter egos ‘Wayne’ and ‘Sharon’ peta manages to tap into the complexities of mental health via musical monologue and eyebrow raising costumes. Delivering a raw and thought provoking performance, through tears and laughter you will be ultimately inspired to get on with living life.
‘Baggage Limit’ is as much about coming to terms with what is, learning how to make peace with the past and having a better relationship with the voices in your head.
Donations will be used to take the performance to premier at The Adelaide Fringe Festival 2020, March 9th to 14th at The Bakehouse Theatre in Adelaide.
