Shannon Ashlyn

Born and raised in Switzerland, Shannon toured Europe as a young actor before moving to Australia to study drama.

Since graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Shannon has worked across stage and screen, most notably in ‘Packed to the Rafters’, ‘Puberty Blues’, the ABC’s ‘Devil’s Dust’, the BBC’s ‘Dripping In Chocolate’ and Channel Nine’s hit series ‘Love Child’. Shannon made her feature debut in ‘Wolf Creek 2’ and recently collaborated with Jo-Anne Brechin and Emma Paine on the award-winning film ‘Zelos’, currently playing in Australian cinemas and touring festivals internationally.

At present, Shannon is completing her Masters of Directing at Australia’s national film school, the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), for which ‘Sweet Tooth’ will be her graduating project.
