Born Sydney 1970. I studied Applied Art majoring in Gold and Silver Smithing at Monash University, Melbourne. I continued further studies as a Design Associate within the Metal Studio at the JamFactory, Adelaide. I have since diversified and gone into public art and I have participated in 4 Strand Ephemera Exhibitions, Townsville QLD. I’m currently working on my 5th sculpture for Strand Ephemera to be exhibited at the end of July 2017. I have recently been accepted to exhibit at SWELL Sculpture Festival September 2017, Currumbin QLD.
My artistic practice incorporates wearable art, small sculptures and larger public artworks. My work has been described as “sophisticated pop art”, I like to create bold yet simple forms that impart a stimulating and lasting experience. I use a diverse range of mediums including metal, shell, fabric, plastic, wood and found objects.
