Working on international projects in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Papua New Guinea, Michele Konrad spent the first twenty years of her career as a manager in the oil and construction industries.
In 2008 she trained as a screenwriter in Los Angeles, completing New York Film Academy’s Screenwriting program and a Producer’s course at UCLA. Relocating to Australia, she completed film courses at AFTRS and NIDA. In 2015 she founded production company Collaborative Space.
Her first two films are currently in festival submissions and her third film, The Fishbowl, is in development.
Having spent years as a project manager in some of the most remote and fascinating places in the world, Michele brings that experience to her films. Expect adventure, surprise, heartfelt stories and an ambitious approach.
