Jamieson Pearce

Jamieson Pearce – Director
Jamieson’s first short film, ‘For the Love of Julio’, won the Audience Choice Award at the Made in Melbourne Film Festival in 2013. The following year, he studied a Graduate Diploma in Directing at the Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS). His first student film, ‘Blanca’, played as part of Critics Week at the Cannes Film Festival and his second student film, ‘The Fruity’, played at Flickerfest and Melbourne Queer Film Festival. In 2015, Jamieson was chosen to participate in Open Channel’s Raw Nerve Initiative and directed another short film ‘Older & Younger’, which will air on ABC2 later this year. At the end of the year, he worked as a Director’s Attachment on ABC series ‘Rake’, and is continuing to work as a freelance filmmaker. He has been working on ‘Adult’ for over a year and can’t wait to start filming.

Liam Heyen – Producer
Liam Heyen is a graduate of AFTRS and the Queensland College of the Arts. Over a short period of time he has produced an expansive catalogue of short films, including the award winning ‘Rain’ (Williamsburg International Film Festival 2013), ‘Ouroboros’ (Flickerfest 2015), ‘Blanca’ (Cannes Film Festival’s Cinema des Antipodes 2015), ‘Opal’ (New Filmmakers New York 2015), and ‘Back to Earth’ (Cinequest Film Festival 2016). He is currently working at Goalpost Pictures across all facets of the business, and was post-production coordinator on Neil Armfield’s ‘Holding the Man’. He continues to forge strong connections with other emerging filmmakers, and most recently produced the Screen Australia funded short film ‘Problem Play’, directed by award-winning filmmaker Matthew Moore.

Cyna Strachan – Producer
Cyna is an AFTRS graduate and is an ambitious, dynamic producer. In her two years producing, she has produced a number of short films, corporate animations/ films, and music videos. She was an editor and producer of online Magazine ‘Dandy’, has extensive experience in digital publishing and content creation. Cyna has been freelancing as a Production Coordinator/ Assistant since graduating from AFTRS, and has worked for Production companies including Jungle, In the Thicket, Hackett Films and Paper Dragon. Cyna spent most of 2014 working as a Producer/ Directors Assistant on feature film ‘2:22’ starring Teresa Palmer and Michiel Huisman.
