Showcasing work in every genre you can think of (and a few that are made-up), the Darwin Fringe Festival is a community arts festival with bite. Presenting close to 100 events, we’re a city-wide celebration of Independent artistic endeavour.
The Darwin Fringe Festival is a ten-day open access, community driven arts festival taking place annually in the beautiful Top End dry season. The festival supports independent and diverse, local and visiting artists to present work outside of the mainstream with a focus on things that you might not normally see in Darwin. It is a celebration of and for Northern Territory artists to support experimentation and performance/exhibition opportunities.
We’re a community festival with community values, we try our darndest to look after our presenting artists, and to constantly approach individual artistic and sector development as our core business.
